We had some of our first snowfall this week and it was kind of magical. I was walking through the Boston common on my way home from the movies (we saw Spotlight which was amazing), and the snow was just starting to fall. People were skating on the frog pond and the Christmas lights were still twinkling and I kind of had a little moment. Despite being a big skiier, I'm not a huge winter fan. The cold weather and short days tend to get me down and I find myself always longing for the hot heat of summer. However, After weeks and weeks of winter weather with no snow, I was so happy to see big fluffly snowflakes falling from the sky.
With all this talk of more snow this weekend, I'm excited for a cozy winter weekend. I'm headed to Portsmouth with my guy for the weekend and I couldn't be more excited. I've never spent time in Portsmouth so it will be fun to explore a new classic New England town. Do you have any fun weekend plans?
{Stopped into one of my favorite Boston shops, Patch NYC, last week}
