I have always loved Amber Interiors. Actually, I'm pretty OBSESSED with Amber Interiors. Plus, Amber (we're on first name basis, clearly) just seems like a really cool chick that I could definitely be friends with. You can really get a sense of her personality from her blog and instagram...something I respect a lot and hope to do as well (but is very hard). I'm always following her current projects and musings, but lately I've been especially drawn to the bedrooms in her portfolio. As I try to figure out what to do with my own bedroom, these images of her work are serving as my inspiration.
I love how the beds are often all white, with a funky quilt or blanket tucked in at the foot, and really awesome pillows decorating the head. She is extremely talented at mixing in pops of color to an otherwise muted base palate in a way that does not seem forced or annoying. The side tables she chooses are always something modern or mid century in a warm wood tone or white, topped with awesome table lamps. I've always been a fan of a good, dramatic photograph above the bed, something she does frequently and that I've planned on doing in my room for a while now.
Basically she is super talented and somehow manages to pull off the hippy-California-vibe without being too stuffy or too relaxed...which is a hard line to walk. IN CONCLUSION...I love her.
