We woke up bright and early and pulled in to Brimfield at about 8:15 am, hoping to miss the crowds and potential rain. Before anything, donuts were in order. We stopped by our all time favorite donut spot, Faddy's, for a donut and a hot cup o joe. You can smell this place immediately upon entering Brimfield and for good reason, DO NOT AVOID. It is SO good. Some of the best apple cider donuts I've ever had (if not the best)...and I've had more than I'd like to admit.
We continued walking, donuts in hand, and started at May's field. We saw a ton of good stuff, including a little bamboo shelf that I just don't have space for in my apartment. I also had never noticed all of these spools of thread before and I saw them everywhere this year. The different colors were so beautiful and I wanted to take them home with me even though I have absolutely zero use for thread.
This was one of our best years at Brimfield. We went in with super low expectations, thinking we'd only stay for an hour or two. Since it was supposed to rain (which it didn't), there were no crowds and vendors seemed to have lower prices as a result. My mom and I both picked up some really awesome things. I usually don't end up buying anything because I'm so indecisive but I got a beautiful pillow and a pair of earrings. I will be sure to show you the pillow once my bedroom is all decorated! Check out some pictures from Thursday below and stop by again tomorrow for more pics!
