This past weekend I took a little road trip to Maine for the night. We had some major (and definitely out of the way) stops we wanted to make so it really turned into quite a lot of driving. Good thing I love to be cruisin' beneath the bluebird skies, cranking some music! Our destination for Saturday night was a little campsite in Georgetown, Maine. However, we had a very important food stop we absolutely needed to make way up in Waterville (where we went to school), so that led to some more hours behind the wheel.
I cannot describe how amazing it was to finally be back on the incredible beautiful coast of Maine. I fall more in love with that place every time I have the pleasure of visiting. There's so many more areas I want to explore I just wish I had more time to do it. I'm going to make a point of getting up to the Mt. Desert/Bar Harbor area as soon as possible. Anyways we caught a few of the fleeting rays before the sun went down, had a picnic, and generally enjoyed being by the water. We definitely had our fair share of speed bumps (which I will disclose later), but overall it was an amazing weekend. Here are a few snaps from the road.
