Have you guys seen Inside Out? If not, I suggest you run, don't walk, to see it STAT. I'm sure you've heard of it since everyone's talking about it. But if not, it's about the voices inside your head: joy, sadness, fear, disgust, and anger, and how they affect your mood, actions, and life. The voices are played by the following: Amy Poehler as Joy, Bill Hader as Fear, Mindy Kaling as Disgust, Lewis Black as Anger, and Phyllis Smith as Sadness.
Yes, it is a children's movie and I think all little kids would enjoy it-- but all of the concepts that it touches on really relate more to adults. Things like bittersweetness, depression, nostalgia, and happiness are emotions and feelings that adults can connect more with since they know more about themselves and the way they work. I laughed so hard and also maybe cried (which I never do at movies) and left feeling so happy that I took the time to see it.
