Well folks, I've got some dimensions for my soon to be apartment! So keeping in theme and continuing on our "decorating small" journey, I've got another gem to share with you. I was flipping through The Globe Magazine and saw that they too, are loving the small spaces and the design possibilities they provide. They focused on a few homes but this charming P-town home in particular really stuck out to me.
The couple, Brad Walker and Rodin Shaw Cole, stuck with a dark grey palette on most of the walls (I have a serious thing for gray paint). The master bedroom contrasts in a bright, white, with touches of gray in the bedding to tie it all together. They effortlessly mixed all of these grey, whites and wood tones to create a space that is light and airy, but works year round.
I love the mix of contemporary pieces and vintage pieces in this space and that they chose not to use anything too precious. Most of their pieces were purchased online at places like Overstock.com, Target.com, Wayfair.com etc. To me, this is huge because this is exactly what I am going to be doing: combing through Pinterest and sites that are easily accessible to look for less expensive, but beautiful pieces. Anywho, take a look at this gorgeous space and let me know what you think!
