Sunday night, after a long drive from VT, I hunkered down by the fire with some greesy, cheesy, sinfully delicious pizza to watch the Grammy's red carpet and the award show. I loved all of the performances and was pretty entertained until I became restless just waiting for Queen Bey to perform (which was over way too soon).
I love that Grammy's fashion is all about taking risks and having fun, but I was really unimpressed with pretty much all of the fashion choices. So to get my red carpet fix, I hopped across the pond (via the internet) to check out the looks from the BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Awards. I have to say the Brits really out-shined us on this one-- I was really impressed with a lot of the gowns.
I am drooling over Léa Seydoux's Prada gown. We all know how I feel about yellow (see here), and this is a perfect example of how it's done to perfection. She looks so old Hollywood glam. Her hair is perfection, her make up is perfection and the dress is, you guessed it...perfection. Can't say enough how perfect this look is.
