Next stop: Segovia (also known as land of baby pigs and a very large aqueduct). We stopped here on our way to Salamanca, to walk around and grab lunch. We squeezed in some more educational activities, including visits to the Segovia Cathedral, Alcazar (the inspiration for Cinderella's castle (!!!)) and of course, the Roman Aqueduct. The aqueduct was quite impressive to say the least.
The old part of town was beautiful and full of narrow streets and corners. It was the perfect place to stop for lunch. We quickly discovered that Segovia's speciality is baby pig (I was not cool with this), so my brothers had quite the lunch...while I munched on vegetable stew.
