Can Miles Redd get any cooler? Both he and his designs just ooze sexiness and ingenuity. When F. Schumacher & Co. announced its upcoming collaboration with Redd, I was excited to see what he would do with free creative reign.
In the past, Schumacher has paired up with designers such as Mary McDonald, Celerie Kemble, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Timothy Corrigan, and Alessanda Branca and the results are almost always impressive. It's always interesting to see what they come up with and this collaboration is no exception.
I love the mix of both organic and graphic patterns he created, making for a broad and diverse collection. Redd does an amazing job of making punchy and bold spaces that perfectly walk the line of being overly decorated, yet are rooted in traditional design. I could see this line in both traditional and innovative spaces which is the perfect combo for a collaboration.
The Pavilion wallpaper on the left below is my absolute FAVORITE. This is what I mean when I say he does an amazing job at balancing things that work in traditional and modern spaces. I have dreams about putting this wallpaper in my future dining room. GORGEOUS.
How amazing does this cross hatch fabric look on that chair. I love the contrast cording and would not mind owning this like, right now.
