This past Saturday Concord held it's annual Farmer's market. I've never been before since I am usually at school but it was really nice. I have a few farms in rotation that I frequent regularly in Concord, but there were over a dozen farms at the market, many that I've never even heard of. It was great to be able to discover new farmer's markets around town that I wouldn't have otherwise. It was the perfect, crisp fall day and the produce reflected the change in seasons to a t -- pumpkins and root vegetables were aplenty! And man oh man were the flowers gorgeous. I feel the need to stock up on blooms right now anticipating the impending cold, bleak, flowerless winter ahead.
Unfortunately if you didn't catch it, you're going to have to wait until next year because it only happens in the fall. I wish it happened every weekend!
