Last night Mary and Gretch came over for dinner. Since theme-ing things always seems to make them more fun, we themed away - - Mexican night it is! We whipped up chicken fajitas with all of the fixings, as well as some extra salty margaritas to wash it all down.
I shaved the above chocolate (the Chipotle Chili variety) on the Mexican Chocolate Cupcakes I made. The chocolate is amazing and is made by an awesome company, Taza Chocolate, based right nearby in Somerville, MA. They specialize in 100% stone ground, organic Mexican chocolate. The Mexicano disks (what I used) come in all different kinds of flavors such as ginger, cinnamon and salted almond. I recommend giving them a try. It also looks like you can take tours of the factory which could be fun.
Do you guys have any fun theme nights you especially like? I welcome all suggestions. I'm a big fan of those based around cooking but have also been known to enjoy a good mustachio bashio party from time to time. I'm thinking old Hollywood glam would be fun too. Thoughts?
