I was lucky to have a visitor this weekend, which is always nice when you're secluded in a lobstering town in Maine. Jordy came over from Vermont this weekend and we took advantage of the beautiful weather Saturday and got outside after work.
First stop was Drift Inn Beach, a gorgeous pebble beach down the road from the gallery. The sun was shining and the water was numbingly cold but it was well worth it.
Next we headed to Dougie's take out to grab lobster rolls (grilled chicken sandwich for me). I'm still learning to accept eating lobsters after we befriended and named them then raced them around the house when I was young. We took our supah healthy meals over to Marshall Point Lighthouse where we enjoyed a picnic as the sun went down. Jordy, being the sculptor that he is, of course had to lug home a few boulders from the beach for some upcoming projects.
